Hartmann reaches settlement with the Lactosan Sanovo Holding A/S Group
Brødrene Hartmann A/S has reached a settlement with the Lactosan Sanovo Holding A/S Group regarding a number of previously notified claims for up to DKK 50 million relating to Hartmann's sale of the loss-making operations in South America (see announcement no. 8/2007 of 27 April 2007) to the Lactosan Sanovo Holding A/S Group.
As a consequence of the settlement, the five-year agreement on distribution of profit between buyer and seller no longer applies.
The other details of the settlement are confidential, but it can be disclosed that the very limited effect of the settlement on Hartmann's profit will be included in the earnings forecast for 2009 to be published in the Annual Report 2008 on 19 March 2009.
