Leiden, The Netherlands, November 5, 2002 - Dutch antibody and vaccine company Crucell N.V. (Euronext, NASDAQ: CRXL) announced today that it has appointed Mr. Arie C. Bos as its Director Corporate Communications as per December 1, 2002. Mr. Bos will be responsible for Crucell's internal and external communications.
Mr. Bos currently works for Hill and Knowlton, but has been working on an interim management basis at Crucell since October 1, 2002. Prior to this, Mr. Bos was Group Director of Hill and Knowlton Financial in Amsterdam, part of Hill and Knowlton B.V, a communications consultancy company. In this role he acted as financial communications advisor to a number of Hill and Knowlton's client companies.
Before joining Hill and Knowlton, Mr. Bos worked as Senior Consultant Financial Communications at Adviesbureau Klijnsma & Bodes, a communications consultancy company based in The Hague. Mr. Bos has also worked as a journalist for Het Financieele Dagblad. He holds a law degree from Leiden University.
