EDB 4tel appoints Michael White to lead growth from the UK.
OSLO --August 30, 2001--
EDB 4tel, an innovator in the billing and customer care industry, has appointed Michael White as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. White is spearheading EDB 4tel's drive into global markets, as the company moves to recreate its success on an international scale.
White, based in the UK, has over ten years' experience within the billing industry. Most recently, he was Vice President of International Sales at Smarten, where he established their global presence and company identity. Prior to this he carried out a similar role for Saville Systems - now in part of ADC - where he was instrumental in some of the company's largest ever contract wins.
Previously, White headed up Asia/Pacific operations for CableData International, while it became the world's number one CATV billing company, and won numerous international contracts in Japan, Australia, Korea, India, and Malaysia.
EDB 4tel is using its strong European market position for voice and data billing and mediation as a foundation for global expansion.
