EDB Business Partner, through its subsidiary EDB Teamco, has entered an agreement with Statoil for operations of Statoil's information technology systems. The agreement covers provision of computing power and storage services on IBM mainframes and operations of Statoil's business critical applications on the same technical platform.
The agreement involves deliveries to Statoil's organisations in the three Scandinavian countries and has a value of approcimately NOK 50 million over a two-year period. In addition, Statoil has an option to extend the agreement for additional 2+2 years.
