Sandnes Sparebank has signed a contract with EDB Business Partner's wholly owned subsidiary EDB Fellesdata to purchase software and computer operating services for its new multichannel solution (Internet banking and sales support). The contract extends over four years, and is worth approximately NOK 25 million.

The agreement provides for the development of new e-banking features for the bank's Internet portal, as well as the total integration of all the features of the portal system. This solution represents the further development of the bank's strategic investment in self-service banking and financial services delivered over the Internet. EDB Teamco will supply computer operating services for the portal system.
