Terra-Gruppen has signed a contract with EDB Business Partner's wholly owned subsidiary EDB Fellesdata to purchase the Micos self-service system and related operating services for the group's 85 member banks. The agreement runs for five years, and is worth some NOK 20 million in total.

Terra-Gruppen and EDB signed an agreement on strategic co-operation in December 2001.
"Following a comprehensive evaluation we have chosen Micos for our members' self-service units", explains Stein Ole Larsen, Deputy Managing Director of Terra-Gruppen.
"The choice of Micos as a self-service platform by Terra-Gruppen represents a realisation of the collaboration between us", adds Ole Trasti, Managing Director of EDB Fellesdata.

Micos handles the receipt of transactions from self-service units such as mini banks and other self service units, as well as the administration of these units. The system is fully integrated with the other banking systems.

Terra-Gruppen has 85 member banks operating from 216 offices, with almost 1,900 employees and total assets of NOK 1,000 million.
