EDB Business Partner ASA could today announce a new mediation contract for its subsidiary, EDB 4tel. EDB 4tel delivered its Sterling Mediation Solution to VimpelCom, a leading mobile operator in Russia this winter. VimpelCom and EDB 4tel have now agreed for an extension, Phase II, of the Mediation Project. The new contract has a total value of about USD 1,3 million. The Phase II will support TAP3 roaming and several new interfaces both on the network side and on the Business Support side.

The Sterling Mediation solution is the market's leading solution for usage event collection and processing. State-of-the-art, open-architecture, real-time collection and processing of event usage records from telephone switches, soft switches, RADIUS servers and other data generating systems.
