(Oslo 20.12.2002)  EDB Business Partner's wholly owned subsidiary EDB Teamco has entered agreements over recent weeks with several Norwegian banks for disaster recovery for banking systems (continuity solution). The total value of the agreements is NOK 47 million.

 

The continuity solution is a new generation of disaster recovery system designed to ensure uninterrupted operation in the event of operational difficulties, and uses backup systems at an alternative operating location with intact data that is virtually synchronously updated. The continuity solution has been developed in close collaboration with leading Norwegian banks.
