(Oslo 23.12.2002) Privatbanken has entered into an agreement with EDB Business Partner's wholly owned subsidiary EDB Fellesdata to purchase software and computer operating services for its banking activities. The contract runs for five years and is worth minimum NOK 16 million.

 

This new five-year contract represents a renewal of the existing agreement for the supply and operation of banking systems. In addition the agreement extends to the purchase of new applications for the bank's focus on self service functions. The bank is expanding its services with new version Internet banking for corporate customers, facilities to manage customer agreements over the Internet and new systems to distribute information to banking customers. The computer operating services element of the contract will be provided by EDB Teamco.
