| Edb Business Partner ASA - New five-year contract with Den norske Bank |
|
EDB Business Partner ASA has signed a contract with Den norske Bank (DnB) to operate the bank's systems for the administration of securities and mutual funds portfolios in Norway and Sweden. The contract runs for five years and has a total value of NOK 30 million.
The new contract is signed with DnB Asset Management, which offers domestic and international investment management services for the Norwegian and Swedish savings market. This business area manages funds with a total value of some NOK 286 billion.
The contract includes operating services for TMS2000, a mission-critical IT system for managing discretionary portfolios of securities and mutual funds. The agreement also includes the operation of related support systems for portfolio reporting and accounting, as well as external interfaces with Reuters and Swift_Merva.
The decision to enter into this agreement with EDB reflects DnB Asset Management's objective of reducing the costs and risks associated with its IT operations by outsourcing to an IT operation that offers commitment, reliability and value creation in the best interests of the company's business areas.
The services covered by this contract will be delivered by EDB Teamco, an IT-operating services company that is wholly owned by EDB Business Partner ASA. EDB Teamco already has an extensive contract to provide operating services for the DnB group's IT systems.
