| EDB Telesciences delivers Mediation to VimpelCom |

(Oslo, 21 May 2003) EDB Telesciences and VimpelCom, a leading provider of mobile communications in Russia, agreed on the delivery of Sterling Mediation to support the collection of traffic data from regions outside Moscow. EDB Telesciences' mediation solution has previously been implemented in the Moscow region. This extension is part of the operator's strategy to centralise and streamline its billing and customer care operations. EDB Telesciences' mediation solution will support data collection from various telecommunications network equipment and refine this into a standard format recognised by downstream systems such as billing and customer care. An upgrade to TAP 3.10 is also included in the agreement.
