Incatel, recently acquired by EDB Business Partner's subsidiary EDB Telesciences, has signed a deal of approximately four million Euro with a major telecom provider in Scandinavia to deliver its flagship product NIMS.

 

NIMS is a software Network and Service Inventory solution for end-to-end provisioning that enables network operators to deliver services faster, more reliably and more cost-effectively to their customers. This is a new customer for the company, whose customers include Telenor, TDC TeleDanmark, Cesky Telecom, Belgacom and Telia Sonera. This win demonstrates Incatel`s leading position as a supplier of software solutions in the network resource management segment of the telecom industry.

 

The introduction of convergent networks and advanced telecom services places great demands to how operators collect, administrate and process traffic data and other information from the networks. Working together with advanced operators, EDB Telesciences is a leading player in the mediation and revenue assurance industry.
