EDB Business Partner ASA - Sale of the subsidiary EDB Dolphin AS

EDB Business Partner signed an agreement on 30 June 2003 for the sale of its 100% owned subsidiary EDB Dolphin for NOK 30 million. The sale will give rise to an accounting profit for EDB of approximately NOK 20 million in the second quarter of 2003. This sale represents a further step in the group's strategy to focus on its core areas of Computer Operating Services, Bank & Finance and Telecommunications. EDB Dolphin is being acquired by the company's management, working together with external investors. Dolphin reported turnover of NOK 48 million in 2002, and has 31 employees.
