| EDB Business Partner ASA - New IT operating services contract with SJ AB |

(Oslo, 26.09.03) EDB Business Partner ASA has signed an agreement to supply IT services to Statens Järnvägar (SJ AB) of Sweden. The contract runs from 1 June 2003 to 31 December 2005, and has a total contractual value of approximately SEK 130 million. SJ AB (formerly Swedish State Railways) has decided to renew its existing contract with EDB. The agreement signed covers the operation and management of applications, communications solutions and the related centralised and decentralised IT infrastructure.
The services provided by EDB will cover the operation of business-critical applications for SJ, including the applications used for ticket sales over the Internet and through self-service ticket machines. SJ forecasts strong growth in ticket sales through these self-service channels. Self-service sales accounted for 11% of tickets in 2002, but this increased to around 20% during the summer of 2003.
EDB's services will be supplied by EDB Unigrid AB, a wholly owned Swedish subsidiary of EDB Business Partner and part of the IT Operating Services business area. The new contract, which runs to the end of 2005, includes an option for early termination at the 2004/05 year end.
