EDB signs IT operations contract with the City of Oslo

(Oslo, 05.12.03) The ICT and Accounting Service of City of Oslo has signed an extension of its IT operations contract with EDB Business Partner. The agreement represents business volume of NOK 16 million over a 3-year period.

EDB IT Operations provides applications operating services for the City's payroll and personnel systems. This contract is a renewal of the contract EDB currently operates for the City of Oslo that is due to expire on 31.07.2006.

This contract builds on the technical environment transferred to EDB IT Operations when EDB Business Consulting was closed as a separate business area earlier this year. This area of speciality now forms part of EDB's focus on the operation and administration of business-critical applications for trade and industry and the public sector. EDB believes that there is considerable potential for growth in this type of service in the future.
