MøllerGruppen renews its contract with EDB

(Oslo, 12 January 2004) MøllerGruppen has renewed its contract with EDB Business Partner for the supply of IT operating services for its distributed IT environment. The contract now runs for three years from 1.1.2004 and represents business volume of around NOK 15 million.

"The contract with EDB has made it possible for MøllerGruppen to free up internal resources for other more strategic tasks than the day-to-day operation and administration of IT systems. We are satisfied with EDB's delivery, quality and pricing. This together with their flexible approach to our collaboration has led us to renew our contract with EDB", explains Sven Tore Feet, Head of IT at Møller Logistikk.

The operation of MøllerGruppen's distributed IT environment includes over 100 Windows servers in a nation-wide network serving 2,400 users. The operating services provided cover daily operational tasks, monitoring, fault management and support. EDB also assists MøllerGruppen with the administration of its server platform, software distribution, installation services and operational tools for the customer's own systems administration.
