Norske Skog signs operating services contract with EDB

(Oslo, 10 March 2004) Norske Skog has signed a contract with EDB Business Partner for the operation of its SAP system. The contract runs for two years, and represents a total business volume of around NOK 20 million. The agreement signed is a renewal of Norske Skog's existing operating services contract, and now covers the period to 30 September 2006.

The services provided by EDB IT Operations include daily operations, monitoring, fault management and the operation of Norske Skog's SAP system and related applications. Norske Skog's SAP system is currently used by 8 of its factories around Europe, and it is linked into the group's sales and logistics functions.
