This agreement, together with the framework agreement signed on 22 March this year, represents a further step in the long-term collaboration between DnB NOR and EDB that will contribute to reducing the bank's IT costs.

The framework agreement the parties have entered into provides for EDB Bank & Finance to assist DnB NOR with conversion processes and integration of the various IT systems and applications used by Gjensidige NOR and DnB onto a single platform for the new financial group.

 

EDB has established an in-house project to support DnB NOR's ITIP project. Activities are already under way to establish the necessary test environments and to make short-term changes to the various applications currently used by DnB NOR to ensure efficient exchange of transaction information and communication across the current system environments. The applications that EDB Bank & Finance currently supplies to DnB NOR in the areas of payment services, internet banking, security, customer information and archiving will be adapted for the bank's system platform.
