(Oslo 21 June 2004) In connection with todays article in Finansavisen, EDB underlines that the company, as announced on Friday 18 June, is in a process of planning a range of measures to reduce cost following the agreement with Telenor announced in March this year. These measures principally relate to the activities of EDB IT Operations, and implementation will start in autumn 2004. The number of employees that will be affected by these changes will not be known until the detailed planning process is completed in August.
