| Helse Midt-Norge signs IT operations contract with EDB |

(Oslo, 17 December 2004) Helse Midt-Norge RHF (the Central Norway Regional Health Authority) has entered into an agreement with EDB to purchase IT operating services for 2005. The agreement makes EDB responsible for operating the network between all the hospitals and trusts in the region, and represents business volume of NOK 12 million. Helse Midt-Norge RHF has overall responsibility for specialist health services in the counties of Nord and Sør-Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal. This new agreement represents a continuation of the long-term collaboration between Helse Midt-Norge RHF and EDB. The collaboration makes EDB responsible for the operation of a high-capacity network between all the health authority undertakings in central Norway, and provides broadband solutions for 200 doctors' practices.
