Storebrand chooses EDB for its IT operations

(Oslo, 11 May 2005) Storebrand ASA has entered into an agreement with EDB Business Partner ASA for the operation of its computer centre, including the operation of mainframes, servers and printing production. The agreement also includes distributed operating services for some 1,300 PCs, together with responsibility for user support and communications solutions.

The contract is expected to represent business volume of around NOK 250 million over its five-year term, starting from 13 January 2006.

The contract does not include any transfer of employees.

In December 2003, Storebrand Bank renewed and expanded its contract with EDB for the supply of solutions and operating services. This new contract makes the Storebrand group one of EDB's largest customers.
