Nordlandsbanken renews its contract with EDB

(Oslo, 30 June 2005) Nordlandsbanken has signed a new agreement with EDB Business Partner ASA for the operation and administration of its banking solutions. The agreement runs to 1 July 2010, and represents total business volume of around NOK 106 million from 1 January 2006.

The contract covers the operation and administration of core banking systems, bank branch office systems and self-service channels. In addition, EDB will be responsible for producing and printing reports and messages to customers.

The new contract results from DnB NOR's acquisition of Nordlandsbanken. This means that Nordlandsbanken has now joined DnB NOR's overall agreement with EDB Business Partner for the operation and administration of IT services. The existing contract with Nordlandsbanken was set to expire 31 December 2005.
