(Oslo, 17 November 2005) EDB's CEO Endre Rangnes has been voted best CEO among Norwegian listed companies in the annual IR 2005 Nordic Markets survey carried out by the research and analysis firm REGI. "EDB gives its work on IR a high priority, and we see this both as confirmation that we are doing things properly and as a vote of confidence from the market", comments Endre Rangnes.
EDB puts great emphasis on ensuring that the company's key senior management make themselves available to analysts and investors and maintain open communications. "We see the quality of our work on IR as a very important factor in the success of our strategies. We are a listed company, and the market expects us to disseminate information quickly. This award is the result of our long-term commitment to building and maintaining the confidence EDB enjoys in the stock market, and I am very pleased that we are now seeing the results of these efforts", adds Endre Rangnes.
The REGI IR survey is based on responses from 128 analysts and investment managers, of which 30 work outside Norway. REGI carried out a survey in Norway in collaboration with GCI Monsen.
