| EDB - Implementation of cost saving measures at IT Operations in Sweden |

(Oslo, 09 December 2005) As announced in connection with the publication of the interim report for the third quarter, EDB is implementing cost saving measures in the fourth quarter at IT Operations in Sweden in order to improve the profitability of this unit. The cost savings will be achieved through a reduction in headcount that will affect some 30 employees, and EDB expects to recognise a non-recurring charge of NOK 15 million in the fourth quarter.
