EDB appoints Executive Vice President for the public sector

(Oslo, 15 november 2006) EDB Business Partner continues to strengthen its focus on the public sector market, and announces the appointment of Jan Ivar Borgersen (42) as a new Executive Vice President for the public sector. Jan Ivar Borgersen is currently an Executive Vice President of Allianse ASA, a subsidiary of the Ergo Group.

Jan Ivar Borgersen has extensive experience of the IT industry, and has developed a broad base of expertise in the public sector. As an EVP at Allianse, he was responsible for the group's overall activities in centralised IT operating services. Prior to this he was responsible over a six-year period for developing Steria's outsourcing services in Norway. In addition, Jan Ivar Borgersen has extensive experience of similar services from employment with Ergo Group and Telenor.
