| Pareto Privat enters into agreement with EDB |

(Oslo, 12 September 2007) Pareto Privat AS plans to start a bank using IT solutions and operating services from EDB. Pareto Privat has entered into a five-year contract with EDB for deliveries to the new bank. EDB's responsibilities will include providing a banking portal for the bank's customers, employees and business partners. "EDB was a natural choice for us, and we have great confidence in EDB as our supplier", comments Ole Tandberg of Pareto Privat.

EDB's deliveries to Pareto Privat
EDB will supply a complete solutions portfolio to Pareto Privat, including banking office solutions, Internet banking, money-laundering avoidance and card services, and will therefore meet the major part of the bank's IT requirements. EDB will also provide operating services for the solutions. In addition, EDB will provide a portal solution for the bank's customers, employees and business partners. The portal will give users access to customised screen images and personalised information delivery.
Flexible solutions
Pareto Privat intends to be a specialist bank with a focus on major private customers and their companies, and so needs solutions that deliver flexibility. "EDB's solutions will make it possible for us to meet our customers' needs successfully at competitive prices. We see that EDB has in-depth knowledge of banking requirements, and understands what is important for us", explains Ole Tandberg.
Pareto Privat plans to open the new bank for business in January 2008.

Pareto Privat AS is a newly established project company and has applied to Kredittilsynet (the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) for authorisation to operate a bank. Pareto Privat plans to open the new bank for business in January 2008 with 20-25 employees. The bank's head office will be in Oslo, and it will target major private customers and their companies.
