(Oslo, 11 January 2008) EDB Business Partner ASA is to change the composition of its executive management in response to the market opportunities and challenges that the company now faces.
EDB has grown strongly over recent years. The new executive management is responsible for ensuring that the company makes efficient use of its resources and realises underlying values.
The company's Chief Executive Officer is Endre Rangnes.
In addition to the CEO, the executive management team includes the following Executive Vice Presidents:
CFO - Kristian Kuvaas Johansen
IT Operations Business Area - Lars Bjertnæs
Application Services Business Area - Johnny Rindahl
Solutions & Industry Verticals Business Area - Ole Urdahl. (The company's industry verticals are Bank & Finance, Public Sector, Telecom, Retail & Industry).
Business Development - John-Arne Haugerud
Operational Management - Oddgeir Hansen
HR - Tone Øvregård
Corporate Communications and Marketing - Geir Remman
Subject to approval of the acquisition by the Norwegian Competition Authority, Ivar Arne Børset, the CEO of IS Partner AS, will also be a member of the executive management. The formal acquisition of IS Partner AS is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2008.
The changes to the executive management team take place with effect from 14 January 2008.
