"Here at St. Olavs we are already running one of the world's most modern hospitals, and IT plays an important role in our day-to-day operations. We already have good experience of Telenor and EDB as suppliers, and the new agreement ensures that we will benefit from continuing stable and professional IT operations in future years", comments Trond Grimstad, Head of ICT at St. Olavs Hospital.
"Our collaboration with St. Olavs Hospital is very important for EDB, both strategically and in terms of market position. This contract will help us to develop greater expertise in delivery to the health sector. We believe that other hospitals stand to gain a great deal from improving the efficiency of their IT operations through outsourcing in the way that St. Olavs has demonstrated", comments Thorolf Thorstensen, acting EVP, IT Operations, EDB.
