| EDB appoints new head for its combined operating services organisation |

EDB has previously announced that it intends to merge EDB Business Partner Norge AS and IS Partner AS as part of its program to realise synergy benefits, reduce costs and ensure optimal benefit from investment, as well as building shared work processes and systems for its entire operating services organisation. The merger between the two companies will be effective from 2009. A stock exchange announcement issued on 20 March 2009 provided pro forma 2008 figures for the combined business area of IT Operations including the operating services division of IS Partner AS. EDB announces now the appointment of Mr. Ivar Arne Børset as Executive Vice President responsible for the IT Operations business area with effect from 1 April 2009. Mr Børset was previously the CEO of IS Partner AS, where he managed the company both before and after EDB acquired the business from StatoilHydro in 2008. Mr Børset has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah, and he has held a number of senior positions in the IT/IS area at Hydro.
