Trafikanten AS invited proposals for a new publishing system in spring 2009. Vendors from Norway and Sweden competed for the contract, and Trafikanten selected EDB's subsidiary Avenir as the winner. The agreement represents total contract value of NOK 3 million. Work on implementation will start in September, with the launch of the new solution planned for the first half of 2010.

The agreement with Avenir provides for the delivery of a new trafikanten.no portal and new mobile telephone pages, with improved route planning and intranet functionality. The new publishing solution will be based on EPiServer 5.0 using a Windows platform.
