Ski municipality selects EDB Resource Allocation and Management

(Oslo, 19 October 2009) EDB has signed an agreement to supply a new resource management system for Ski municipality. The system is based on the "EDB Digital Public Sector", which is EDB's newly developed solutions suite for the municipality sector. The contract runs for three years, with the option to extend to up to six years. The first three years represent total contract value of NOK 10 million.

This contract brings Ski municipality into the large group of Norwegian municipalities that now use EDB's SAP-based solutions for the public sector.

Making efficient use of IT
Ski municipality expects the solution to free up its employees' time and simplify its working processes.
The new solution will deliver benefits for the municipality in several areas:

  • Management tool - monitoring, competence planning and reporting
  • Integration of personnel and payroll functions with management solutions
  • Efficient, automated working processes
