SFCMC
Strengthening its ties with the Desseigne-Barrière family, Fimalac today acquired 10% of the capital of Société Fermière du Casino Municipal de Cannes (SFCMC) through its Fimalac Développement subsidiary, for a total amount of €35 million.
Listed on the NYSE Euronext Paris stock exchange compartment B) and controlled by the Desseigne-Barrière family, SFCMC owns and operates two prestigious hotels in Cannes - the Majestic Barrière and the Hôtel Gray d'Albion. It also operates the Casino Barrière Croisette and the Casino Barrière Les Princes, which offer a comprehensive range of games, leisure activities and entertainment to a broad array of local, national and international guests.
Since March 2011, Fimalac Développement has held a 40% stake in Groupe Lucien Barrière, which is 60%-owned by the Desseigne-Barrière family.
