St Peter Port, Guernsey, Monday 18th April 2011 - The Forest Company Limited ("The Forest Company" or the "Company"), a closed-ended investment company with an indefinite life incorporated and registered in Guernsey, announced the appointment of Vielcka D. Dutt to the position of Investor Relations Manager. Ms. Dutt joins the Company to focus on working with both existing and prospective investors
Ms. Dutt brings significant experience and knowledge to the role, having developed and maintained relationships across a variety of sectors, geographies and products throughout her career. Prior to joining The Forest Company, Ms. Dutt spent four years as a Vice President in Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Latin American Institutional Equity Sales Division. In that role, she was originally responsible for maintaining relationships with Portfolio Managers and Analysts at some of the firm's most valued clients, and later identified and developed new relationships with a variety of institutional asset managers through providing them with investment perspective and recommendations on stocks, sectors, and regional markets. She was consistently called upon to provide the firm's clients with in-depth analytical profiles of investment opportunities that relied on an understanding of global macro and valuation trends. Previously, Ms. Dutt was with Palladium Equity Partners, where her primary responsibility was analyzing existing and prospective private equity investments, and Trust Company of the West, where she focused on the firm's Latin American private equity portfolio. Ms. Dutt began her career in the Investment Banking Division of J.P. Morgan & Co. Ms. Dutt received an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, a BA in International Relations from Wellesley College, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
