On 29th June 2006, the company took delivery of the icebreaking tug "Polar Pevek". The ship's design was developed by our company and was a result of experience drawn by our employees from numerous polar expeditions. With her 72x17 meter dimension and 11.000kw engine power, she represents a new generation ice-breaking tug, purpose-built for tanker assistance and ice-management in one of the most weather exposed areas of the world. The vessel will late August commence on a 15 year charter for Exxon Neftegaz Ltd to support their operation at Sakhalin.The vessel will be jointly owned with our partner Primorsk Shipping Corporation.
