Hamburg, 11 December 2003. Hawesko Holding AG (HAWG.DE, HAW GR, DE0006042708) announced today that Dr. Hubertus Schwarz, until now Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Dr. Thomas R. Fischer will retire from the Supervisory Board on 31 December 2003. Mr. Manfred Middendorff, previously the Board's deputy chairman, was elected in today's meeting as its new chairman.
The Supervisory Board expressed its thanks to Dr. Schwarz and to Dr. Fischer for their valuable service in the Board.
