Hamburg, 5 December 2007. On the occasion of today's supervisory board meeting of the wine trading group Hawesko Holding AG (HAW GR, HAWG.DE, DE0006042708), Mr Detlev Meyer has announced that he will leave the supervisory board for personal reasons at the end of the year. Supervisory board chairman Mr Manfred Middendorff expressed thanks to Mr Meyer on behalf of the entire board for his devoted work in this council. Mr Meyer holds approximately 20 % of the voting rights in the company.

 

Mr Meyer stated with regard to this step: "I continue to think the Hawesko Group is a company with excellent opportunities in an interesting market. For this reason, I stand by my shareholding in Hawesko and look forward, like all Hawesko shareholders, to profitable growth of the company."
