IMSK - Annual Report 2005

I.M. Skaugen ASA has today posted its audited Annual Report 2005 on www.skaugen.com and the same is, together with the Norwegian version, sent to Oslo Stock Exchange. Notice for ordinary general meeting on 1st March 2006 was sent to the shareholders by regular mail on 15th February 2006.
 
The net result for the year 2005 is USD20.5 million and the book equity totaled USD86.9 million. There is no significant deviation to the preliminary report as released on 9th January 2006 (net result has increased by MUSD 0.9 and equity is reduced by USD4 million).
 
I.M. Skaugen ASA has made minor adjustments to the Transition Document to IFRS. The only change after the preliminary result 2005 report is an adjustment to the residual values of vessels. Accumulated impact on the carrying amount of the vessels per 31st December 2004 is USD2.5 million (USD1.1 million at 1st January 2004) compared to previously reported.

There is an agreement to purchase up to six additional such vessels.
