LM Group Holding A/S announces CEO Leo Schot is leaving. Marc de Jong appointed CEO immediately.

Smooth transition of leadership achieved to develop the company for the future.

LM Group Holding A/S (LM Wind Power), the world's leading, independent wind turbine blade manufacturer announced today that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Leo Schot will step down from his present role as CEO of LM Group Holding A/S immediately for personal reasons. As a member of the Advisory Board, Leo will remain available to the company for strategic projects.

"We are grateful for Leo's service to LM Wind Power as CEO. We have seen the company's performance and customer relationships improve greatly under his leadership and we wish him all the best for the future," said John Leahy, Chairman.

Appointed to the role of CEO of LM Group Holding A/S with immediate effect, will be Marc de Jong. New to the wind industry, Marc has had an extremely successful career with Phillips where he was previously a member of the Royal Philips Group Management Committee. He was CEO of various divisions within Philips and CEO of the automotive and identification businesses of NXP Semiconductors before beginning his own management consultancy. He presently sits on several Supervisory Boards including the Technical University of Eindhoven, First sensor AG (Berlin) and Sioux Group B.V. (Eindhoven).

In addition, Marc will take over the various directorships of Leo Schot in the LM Group, which includes replacing Leo Schot in the board of directors of LM Group Holding A/S.

Marc holds a Masters in Physics and Mathematics from the Free University of Amsterdam, further qualifications in Economics and two MBA's, one from the University of Rochester in the United States and another from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
