North Energy has been awarded new licence in the 2012 Awards in Predefined Areas (APA) in Norway.

- We are satisfied with having been awarded the licence share we applied for in this APA, says CEO Erik Karlstrøm. We now look forward to the upcoming awards for the 22^nd Round 2012, the major focus for North Energy in 2012.

Awarded licence is PL 693 (15 percent share) on blocks 6608/4 and 6608/7, located north in the Norwegian Sea.

North Energy has participated actively in all licensing rounds since the company started, and has won awards in each round.
