North Energy ASA - Dry exploration well on the Haribo prospect in PL 616

The Haribo exploration well has been drilled to total depth

without encountering hydrocarbons. The well will now be plugged and abandoned.


Spudded on 21 June 2015 the well was drilled by the semi-submersible drilling rig Transocean Searcher on the Haribo prospect, which is located approximately eight kilometres south of the Valhall Field in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.


Partners in the licence are Edison Norge (operator) with 25 per cent, Noreco Norway 20 per cent, Concedo 20 per cent, Lime Petroleum Norway 15 per cent, Skagen44 five per cent and North Energy 15 per cent.
