| Orkla ASA purchased yesterday on 31 August 1999 a total of 400,000 A-shares in Orkla ASA at NOK 123 per share. The shares were purchased through a broker. After the buyback, the Orkla Group has a total holding of 7,198,508 shares in Orkla ASA (incl. 80% of the shares owned by Oktav Invest) consisting of 5,926,859 A-shares and 1,271,649 B-shares.
