In connection with the Orkla ASA rights issue, 21,718,426 shares were subscribed for and allotted, amounting to a total of NOK 135,740,162.50. There were 16,313 subscribers. A letter of allotment will be sent out on 6 December 1999, and the date of payment is 10 December 1999. When the rights issue has been completed, a total of 219,246,336 Orkla ASA shares will have been issued, each with a par value of NOK 6.25. Unexercised subscription rights will be sold on the market at a price of NOK 16.90. Shareholders with unexercised subscription rights will receive payment for these rights around 15 December 1999.
