Finn Jebsen appointed new CEO of Orkla | |
| The Board of Directors of Orkla has today elected Executive Vice President Finn Jebsen as Orkla’s new CEO. Jebsen will replace Jens P. Heyerdahl d.y. during the summer of 2001. | |
| Finn Jebsen (50) has a degree in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and an MBA from UCLA. He came to Orkla in 1980, and has been a member of Orkla’s Executive Board from 1984. Over the last few years he has been responsible for Orkla’s Branded Consumer Goods Area, which represents 80% of the turnover in the Orkla Group.
- A unanimous Board of Directors has agreed on the election of Finn Jebsen. He has through many years had a key role in the profitable development of the Orkla Group, and has detailed knowledge of the Group through his place in the Executive Board. Jebsen is also favoured internally, both by representatives for the employees and by managers, comments Chairman of the Board Finn A. Hvistendahl. | |
