KPN declares special interim dividend12.05.2017 17:35:00 CET
On 26 April 2017 KPN announced its intention to distribute the dividend received on its shareholding in Telefónica Deutschland over 2016 to its shareholders in the form of a special interim dividend distribution of EUR 0.017 per ordinary share.
During the Annual General Meeting of Telefónica Deutschland the proposed dividend was approved and KPN has received the amount of EUR 70m.
Today, KPN declares the special interim dividend of EUR 0.017 per ordinary share unconditional and confirms the ex-dividend date of 17 May 2017. The dividend will be paid in cash, net of 15% dividend withholding tax, on 22 May 2017.
The 9.5% stake in Telefónica Deutschland is treated as a financial investment. KPN benefits from dividend payments by Telefónica Deutschland and additional financial flexibility.
