ROBIT PLC RENEWS ITS OPERATING MODEL - CEO MOVES TO NORTH AMERICA
Robit Plc is moving from its present structure of eight regions to four strong regions in its sales operations. Through this renewal, the four regions will become even more powerful entities with greater independence, aiming especially at further growth and at strengthening the company's market share in their regions.
These four regions will be responsible for their customer and sales based operations and their further development. This new market region structure emphasizes Robit Plc's will to take the decision-making closer to the customers and the importance of the sales organization in the company's future growth.
The persons in charge of these four regions from 1 January 2017 will be:
Mikko Mattila will move closer to the market interface and will take charge of North and South America's market as well as the region's operations and further development. Details of Mattila's move to the region will be announced later. Robit Plc regards North and South America as one of the company's most significant targets for development and growth over the next three years. So the company is investing its best possible resource in order to achieve this target. Due to this, Mattila is stepping down from the position of Group CEO on 31 December 2016.
Harri Sjöholm, Chairman of Robit Plc, will take over the duties of Group CEO on 1 January 2017 until the appointment of a new Group CEO.
