Stork Food & Dairy Systems details measures to restore profitability.
As announced on the publication of the results of Stork N.V. for the third quarter, Stork Food & Dairy Systems, an operating company of Stork Food Systems, is taking measures to improve its competitive strength and profitability. These measures are necessary to improve margins and further reduce operational costs. The measures mean that a total of 92 jobs will be lost at Stork Food & Dairy Systems. A reorganisation charge of approximately € 6.0 million will be taken in the fourth quarter.
Some of the employees affected are expected to make use of schemes for early retirement or internal transfer within Stork. However the need to apply for redundancies of some of the employees affected cannot be ruled out. The trade unions have been notified of the intended reduction in employment and the plan has been submitted to the Works Council for review.
