Numericable brings Sporting Telenet to the living room

Mechelen, 28 July 2011  - Telenet, VOO and Numericable have reached an agreement for the broadcasting of top matches in Belgian football. This means that "Sporting Telenet" and "VOO Foot" can now also be broadcast in Brussels, Wemmel and Drogenbos.

Thanks to this agreement, Dutch-speaking football fans from Brussels, Wemmel and Drogenbos can now also watch all Belgian football league top matches in their own language via "Sporting Telenet". French-speaking fans can watch the matches via "VOO Foot".

Football fans can view the matches via the "Sporting Telenet" or "VOO Foot" options. The conditions that will apply are similar to the conditions for the subscribers to VOO and Telenet. For those viewers who already have a Numericable subscription, "VOO Foot" is, in fact, also available via the "Sport Plus" package.

The following rates will apply:

-  Football fans can watch the matches on the three "Sporting Telenet" channels at a monthly rate of € 24.95.

-  New BeTV Numericable subscribers can watch "VOO Foot" for € 10 a month. Up to the playoffs, existing BeTV subscribers will be offered "VOO Foot" free-of-charge.

-  Existing Numericable subscribers without BeTV can also watch the football matches by purchasing the "Sport Plus" package (this package also includes various sports and entertainment channels in addition to "VOO Foot"). This package is available for € 24.95.
