On July 23, the TOUAX group's railcar division has been awarded from the agency LRQA (Lloyds' Register Quality Assurance) the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its activities of leasing and of maintenance of freight wagons for rail transport operators. Since May 2009, the entire staff of the railcar division has been involved in the preparation for the ISO certification process.
ISO 9001 is a worldwide well known set of quality practices, which ensures the quality of the processes, through a thorough analysis of the quality management system.
It also represents the completion of the first stage of the ECM certification (Entity in Charge of Maintenance), which will ensure TOUAX full control of the maintenance of its fleet of wagons, by emancipating from networks and habits.
