Reference is made to prior notices regarding the rights issue in Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") in which the allocation of the new shares was resolved on 5 June 2009. Thinfilm hereby announces that the share capital increase associated with the rights issue has been duly registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The new shares will be delivered in the VPS and admitted to trading on Oslo Axess on and including 25 June 2009.

The warrants issued to the subscribers in the rights issue have also been duly registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises.

Following the share capital increase, Thinfilm's registered share capital is NOK 14,478,491.94 divided into 131,622,654 ordinary shares each having a par value of NOK 0.11.
