Houston, Texas, May 30, 2002 -- TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company today announced the commencement of a new non-exclusive 2D seismic program located offshore NW Africa.  The Company's vessel Northern Access is acquiring this state-of-the-art 15,000-kilometer geophysical survey. TGS-NOPEC has secured significant pre-funding from the oil industry in support of the project.
